Miko picked quite a way to send off the old year. This morning on our run, he tried to play with a skunk. It did not work out so well.
Unfortunately, we drove up to a nice forest road in Pinos Altos for a tempo run, so our car is skunked, too. We scrambled to find tomato products in our pantry when we got home. We bathed him in stewed tomatoes and marinara sauce, followed by his traditional lavender baby shampoo bath. It worked fairly well. Our car will have to be detailed on Monday.
