It's Raining!

After months of dry weather and high fire danger, it is raining! It smells so good outside, like wet junipers. I am a sunshine girl, and usually hate stormy, cloudy weather, but I am thrilled that the earth is getting a much-needed drink! This is the view from our back window: last night during a break in the storm, bright rainbows appeared. It was magical.
