We Earned This!

After a grueling Stage Four, we headed to what Cath refers to as a dairy, Rachel refers to as a milk bar, and the rest of us would describe as a convenience store/ice cream shop hybrid. We got to indulge in some Tip Top ice cream, which is a New Zealand delicacy. The ice cream beat the taste of a recovery shake! As far as the race, I spent the first 2/3 of the race in a break (note to my family: my role was kind of like being a rabbit in a running race), then survived the final 1/3 to the finish. Leigh had a great day for the team: she is the official Queen of the Mountain for the race, and it sitting in second overall leading in to the final day. Tomorrow we have two races to finish the race off: a morning time trial and an afternoon crit. Send good vibes our way, please!
