Check out this little thorn! We call them "goat heads" here in Idaho for some reason. I am not sure exactly why. But they are all over the roads this time of year! The trails are covered too. Poor Bailey was covered in them after our walk last night. I have gotten four flat tires in the last week alone. Luckily they are slow leaks and I discover my tires are flat when I go to head out for a ride and my tires are deflated. So I have not had to fix it on the side of the road...knock on wood! This little goat head is a sign that it is time to get out the slime-filled tubes and thick training tires!
