106 and rising!

It is going to be hot tonight for the Twilight Criterium. Weather.com says it is 106 right now…whew! I have been hydrating like crazy this afternoon and even soaked in the river for a bit. Maybe it will miraculously cool off in the next hour before I ride to the race. Yeah right! I bet you anything there will be people warming up on trainers down there, even with the temps this high. There is no way I would do that to myself. So send good vibes that all of us crazy racers stay cool tonight. And thanks to my grandma Muzzie for thinking of me during the race. I will let you all know how it goes!
