Yesterday Keiki, Klemmy, and I did one of my favorite trail runs by our property, the Little Annie Mine Loop. It is beautiful, and challenging. Here is a shot of the girls recovering at the top of the 20 minute climb.
Here is the Little Annie Mine, hence my nickname for the loop. It is a remnant of the mining boom in the area in the 1800's.

I enjoyed looking at all the agaves in bloom. They light up the hillsides, mixed in with all the pines.
I savor being able to run on trails and roads in the forest. Life does not get better than this.
