This is poor Klemmy refusing to get out of the car at our property yesterday. Our neighbor, a sheriff, has had target practice on his property during our last few visits, so now she refuses to get out of the car. She looks so bewildered and scared. It breaks my heart. Klemmy hates thunder, fireworks, and gunshots.
There is Klemmy still stubbornly hiding in the car while we checked out house progress. Eventually she got out for a few minutes.

Keiki hanging out on the back patio next to some of the columns they are putting up on our covered patios. She is our full-figured girl right now. Despite running with us a ton, today when she got her shots, she had gained 7 lbs since her last trip to the vet. We have to stop giving in to her begging!
