Here is a shot from the other day. They poured the footings and the concrete slab for our new house! Today they are pouring the patios (we plan on spending as much time on the patios as in the house!). In theory, this means they can start framing our house next week. We are learning to let go of how long things take in the building process, especially in a small town in wonderful, laid-back New Mexico. Even if it is taking longer than we initially thought, is exciting to see progress, and to visualize our future home.
