The final segment of the ride was down Upper Eighth Street through the Hulls Gulch area. I grew up exploring these trails on my pony Princess, and training on them during my running career. When I was a kid, it was not uncommon that I was the only person out there. The only people I would see on the trails were my neighbors! Now Hulls Gulch is a popular trail system. It is neat to see so many people enjoy the Boise foothills, although sometimes I do like when they are quiet and I have them all to myself!
