Sunday was my idea of a perfect ride. I climbed like crazy for four hours! I went up City Creek Canyon, Emigration Canyon, and rode up I Street in the Avenues of Salt Lake City a few times. I Street is a tough one. I took this picture of a steep section, but it does not do it justice. It is well over 10% for a couple of miles, and some pitches are even steeper than that. If you ride from South Temple to 18th Avenue, it is quite an effort. I Street reminds me of San Francisco streets. Maybe not quite as steep, but longer, and a great workout.
